We are campers at heart. :)
Spontaneous, cheerful and fun for everyone.
Preferably outside in the sun all day.
If it rains, well we also have good rain jackets.
Sport in nature is our hobby.
Mountain air and sea breeze, rustling leaves and the roar of streams.
Mountaineering, hiking, cycling, skiing and snowboarding.
On tour with the jeep and roof tent, that's what a vacation is like for us.
We built most of the “setup” ourselves.
We prefer to choose the paths ourselves. :)
We have learned to love nature and try to give it back the energy that it always gives us.
And all of a sudden a campsite?!
“Why a campsite?”
Many people ask us.
“Did you plan this?”
“How do you get something like that?”
It’s all a coincidence.
We were looking for an apartment in the area.
As already mentioned, we are very spontaneous. :)
It actually suits us perfectly.
And as is always the case.
New owners, new wind.
We also have a lot of plans.
Everything should be fine in a few years.

Heating and hot water
A hybrid system with a heat exchanger turns hot air into hot water.
For showering and heating.
Electricity
We have a 100% green electricity contract. This way we increase our eco-balance enormously :)
Company car
We have two small cars for cruising around. One is fully electric and the other is a hybrid :)
Drinks
With us you can get drinks from the region, whether beer or soda, everything from here. Or at least from very close by :)
Waste separation
Here you have all the bins you need to cleanly separate your waste. ;)
Reforestation
We will reforest the place.
We still need a few permits for this, but it will come. :)
Sanitary facilities
Soap, hand and toilet paper are environment friendly :)
Green camping is a way of life.
In harmony with nature and with yourself.
No place in the world can spark that, but it can help.
Here at Camping am Rhein, right on the water, you can feel it.
The effect of nature also plays a major role.
How do you see the green of the trees around you?
Or the sun's rays in the evening,
when they stroke the fresh leaves?
Where does the thought of soothing water accompany you,
which keeps your feet cool in summer?
What happens in your camper heart when you sit by the river in the morning and enjoy your coffee?
You can feel all of this when camping on the Rhine
and perhaps understand what we mean by green camping.
How do we affect nature and nature affect us?
This is not just a question of environmental balance.
Green camping is about foresight.
We want to preserve the beauty of nature for future generations.
Also leave trees and bushes where they “get in the way”.
The origins of camping lie in living in and with nature.
Help us live Green Camping on the Rhine.
Separate your garbage and do not dispose of it in nature.
use sustainable packaging,
use only the bare minimum of electricity,
save water and
buy more local products.
Of course there are many other ways to protect nature, but that's just a start. :)
OUR GOALS
The sanitary facilities, with a view of the Rhine, are being completely renovated.
We will plant more trees, bushes and flowers outside.
A kind of beer garden will be set up at the entrance to the square,
this is accessible to all visitors and has an unobstructed view of the Rhine.
Gray water disposal needs to be improved.
After our third season as campsite owners, we realized what was important.
The first few years were not particularly predictable,
But we always had fun.
And there is always a lot of renovation going on in the winter.
We have already renewed the following since our launch in 2020...
We do have washing machines for you in the sanitary facilities. :)
We have largely finished the shop and you have been able to buy the essentials from us since the beginning of 2021.
You can also sit inside with us since September 2022 ;)
Our sanitary facilities have been completely renovated since April 2022, ceiling heating, rimless toilets, floor-to-ceiling closed cabins, individual washing cabins, changing rooms... everything is new :D
Our heating has been with us since April 2021 and turns warm air into warm water ;)
We now have 4 showers on each side, no more traffic jams :D
The women now have more space and have moved to the left side of the building since April 2022.
Permits for trees, bushes, beer gardens, sanitary facilities for guests with disabilities, solar panels, canopies... if you don't have everything in hand, there will always be unplanned delays. Same here, we'll probably have to wait a while until everything is finished... :/
But at some point the day will come. :)
We also have a gray water disposal system, we still have to aim a little, but it will be revised at some point. ;)
Since the beginning of 2021, you have not only had 10A electricity on the plot, but also drinking water.
The chemical toilet disposal has been barrier-free and renewed since April 2021.
We now have the best coffee in Braubach, from the Nero roastery in Koblenz and super delicious ice cream from Hirnfrost in Koblenz :)
The “wild camping” area is becoming more and more beautiful...
more space for your vans, roof tents, tents, or whatever. :D
